1: How are Buy to Let Financial different?
Buy to Let Financial give a whole of market advice and recommendation service, process your mortgage for you and pay you a fee for using our service.
2: I’ve heard of Cash-Back Mortgages before though?
You may have heard of cash-back mortgages before but this is usually a refund of a fee that you have already paid in the form of a valuation fee or solicitors fee associated with your mortgage. The cash-back you receive from Buy to Let Financial is a share of the commission paid by your new mortgage lender.
3: Where does my cash-back come from?
You may be familiar with mortgage brokers that do not charge a fee for their advice but they will usually get paid a commission from the lender for introducing you as a customer. This is sometimes called a procuration fee - ‘proc fee’ for short. Buy to Let Financial will give you back up to 60% of this money on completion of your new mortgage.
4: So how do you make your money?
Well, we are sharing our income with you so we still get some money for arranging your mortgage – just not all of it! We are so confident that our customers will be delighted with our service and cash-back offering that you will be telling everyone about us.
5: I already have a mortgage & I’m tied in, can Buy to Let Financial help?
Yes we can help. Our advisors will calculate what it is going to cost to repay your existing mortgage and advise you whether it is financially beneficial for you to switch to a better rate. If the penalty charges for repaying your mortgage are too high to make it financially beneficial to you, we will arrange to give you a call back when your current tie-in ends.
